Monza Gearless X1/X2
Gearless technology for home lifts and elevators
The Monza is the gearless traction unit for home lift platforms and traditional elevators. Within a minimal footprint, it revives the essential features of Orange1’s high-performance and efficient gearless machines.
The Monza is not just a single model, but a complete range of variants designed to meet the most diverse needs and consistently offer the best possible performance. It includes versions specifically developed for 1:1 and 2:1 suspension, and for both 230V and 380V power supplies. The speed of the Orange1 Monza ranges from 0.15 to 0.30 m/s for versions specifically designed for home-lift systems, and up to 1 m/s for traditional systems.

Description
VIBRATION
FREE
Orange1 Lift Motors has developed proprietary technology to ensure a constant thickness rotor to stator air-gap of the motor, which when combined with 24 pole technology makes it possible to build vibration-free gearless machines offering uniform and consistent performance through time.
SMALL BUT PACKED
WITH GREAT TECHNOLOGY
The Monza’s PM motor features 24 poles and is designed to provide the maximum efficiency with almost zero cogging torque thanks to the high number of slots per pole and per phase. The permanent magnets were chosen based on their exceptional heat resistance and minimal power losses. Each version of the Monza has windings that are specifically designed to work at the feeding voltage with which the unit will be used (230 or 380 V) and in relation to the specific load and speed conditions.
NOT JUST HOME LIFTS
... ALSO ELEVATORS
The Monza gearless machine is available for home lift applications and for standard passenger elevators. Models in the Monza range feature different dimensions, because one is designed for 120, 140 and 150 mm diameter traction sheaves, and the other for traction sheaves up to 240 mm.
