Milano elevator traction units are designed and built to provide impeccable quality. The low speed shaft features an internal and external oil seal, while the worm shaft bearing dimensions are identical to those adopted by other manufacturers for payloads from 800 kg and above. The case hardened and tempered worm gear with integral shaft guarantees the absence of vibration induced by the mechanical coupling with the motor shaft. The dual rear bearing seat is formed in the machine body casting, thus avoiding the multiple machining tolerances associated with a bearing housing separate from the casing. This is a mere selection of the many features that make Milano elevator machines of decidedly higher than average quality.
